The Role

As our newest Financial Planning Assistant (FPA), you will provide administrative support to the Financial Planning team to ensure the seamless provision of advice and customer service, according to set policy and procedures.

This is a part time role working 3 days per week, located in Melbourne with the option of working flexibly between Docklands and the South Eastern suburbs. 

In this role, your key functions will include:

  • Providing administrative support to a Financial Planner in the management and development of a portfolio of clients under advice.
  • Providing efficient and courteous service to all clients and key stakeholders.
  • Support advisors in co-ordination of client meetings as well as preparation and provision of client research materials and investment advice
  • Management of all files, documentation and client information on CRM to ensure high standard of internal compliance

 The Candidate:

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

  • Proven experience in an administrative role with direct customer contact
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent organisation and business planning skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build relationships – Both internal and external
  • Time management skills
  • Computer literate – Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Xplan experience would be advantageous
