Bendigo Bank is currently working with communities to secure banking services into the future. This innovative banking concept has been established in Nubeena and Nubeena & Tasman Community Bank® Branch is making a vital contribution to the community. 

Since opening in 2014 we have given close to $16,000 back to the community in many ways including being the major sponsor of the Koonya Garlic Festival, helping develop a junior basketball side, repainting the local swimming pool and donating defibrillators to the local emergency services and church.

Now we are looking for someone to come on board to help us to continue to increase our significant contributions to our community by growing our  branch.


About the team and role

As a Customer Service Officer, you will be an important member of a small team who all love our community and believe in the difference that having a bank in the community can make.  You will be the face of Nubeena & Tasman Community Bank® Branch, listening to customers and using your customer service skills to help them achieve their financial goals.

We have a permanent, part time position. The roster is 19 hours per fortnight (Thursdays and every second Friday).  At times additional hours or days may be required.


About you

A successful Customer Service Officer will bring:

  • A customer service focus with a strong desire to find solutions that truly meet customer needs
  • Passion for our community and a willingness to be actively involved in local community engagement activities that make a difference
  • Great communication skills, both face to face and over the telephone, with the ability to develop long term relationships with our customers
  • A values driven approach
  • Experience contributing to a team environment
  • An eagerness to understand and share with others what makes our bank different
  • Sales experience will be highly regarded
  • Experience in the banking and finance industry - a plus but certainly not essential
