About the team and role

Portland is located on the far south west coast of Victoria.  Our Portland Branch has been serving Portland and the region for 14 years and is a successful branch with a supportive team who takes pride in their customer service. Our Customer Service Officers lead the way in the branch with our unique philosophy. They listen to customers and find solutions to help them achieve their financial goals. As a team they are focussed on working collaboratively to achieve targets and goals.  They are responsible for providing effective & efficient service to branch customers in a dynamic, diverse environment.

 

We have part time position available for 6 months.  The roster is 30 hours per fortnight Mon, Tues, Wed.

Saturday mornings are required on a rotating roster basis and flexibility to work additional hours or days may be required.

 

About you

A successful Customer Service Officer will bring:

  • Extensive experience in a customer service environment
  • Sales experience, preferably with KPI’s and targets
  • A strong desire to find solutions that meet customer needs
  • Great communication skills and the ability to develop long term relationships with customers
  • A values driven and career orientated approach
  • A willingness to be actively involved in local community engagement activities that make a difference
  • Experience contributing to a team environment
  • An eagerness to understand and share with others what makes our bank different
  • Experience in the banking and finance industry - a plus but certainly not essential.
