Key players within our self-managed teams are our Relationship Managers, and we are on the look-out for one to join our team.

Relationship Managers contribute towards our vision by actively engaging, managing, maintaining and developing customer and partner portfolios. Effectively managing relationships is absolutely core to this role to ensure our partners, clients and advisors receive consistent delivery of superior service. Specifically, you will manage the day to day running of accounts liaising with Stockbrokers, Advisors and direct clients. This role has both an inbound and outbound element to it. The inbound is dealing with day-to-day queries and transactions on client’s account. The outbound is the execution of customer campaigns and finding new opportunities with existing or new partners or customers in order to aid client retention, increase product per customer ratios and/or uptake of our products with other customers or advisors.

Empowered by our self-managed team structure, our Relationship Managers work together to develop and execute their team strategy, and are encouraged to try new ways of working and engaging with our customers and partners. Not only are they are passionate about growing the business, defending our number one customer satisfaction ranking across stockbroking, financial planning and direct markets is just as important to them. The beauty of this role is that it sits within a business within a broader business, and the role itself is unique given the shared responsibility and management of strategy in addition to executing on this, so there are plenty of opportunities to develop your skills and career. To be successful in this role, you will hold a tertiary qualification in a business-related discipline and RG146 accreditation in Generic Knowledge and Margin Lending as a minimum (or be willing to achieve this). You are a self-starter who is responsible, accountable and has the ability to work autonomously as part of a self-managed team. Strong knowledge of the margin lending industry, gearing strategies and financial markets is a must, including how margin lending fits within the holistic advice model and/or with customers’ financial needs. You have a customer focus that is second to none. You are passionate about both the inbound AND outbound elements of this role, good with numbers, a great problem-solver and communicator, you manage your time well to effectively prioritise your work and meet deadlines, and work well with others. Above all else, your enthusiasm is infectious, you value feedback and are keen to continually learn and grow.
