Smithton is a Regional Town of around 4,000 people on the far north-west coast of Tasmania. The town has a wide range of services and facilities including schools to year 12, hospitals and aged care. Primary industries are farming, forestry, fishing and tourism.
An exciting new role exists within Circular Head Community Financial Services Limited which will operate in conjunction with Bendigo Bank to achieve positive outcomes for the community.
We have a full time Business Development Manager position available.
We seek a passionate, self-motivated, enthusiastic and ambitious person who can identify opportunities and maintain referral networks to further grow the business.
This role is focused on Business Development and Community engagement. Working with complex consumer borrowers, small business, farmers and professionals. While an office is available you will primarily work from your car meeting customers where they want to meet you – their business, factory, farm or a cafe. You will lead a small sales team which is focused on growing the community focused banking business by helping our customers achieve their financial dreams. Your direct report will be focused on banking products and consumer lending. In turn both of you generating profits for the local community and local shareholders. Key relationships being your Community Board, Bendigo Bank and working with our established Locally and Privately owned and operated Bank Agency that provides the bank transactional operations for our customers.
You will require a detailed knowledge of all markets to establish and implement strategies to achieve growth of your portfolio. Support will be provided from the Community Bank® board and Bendigo Bank to assist with a long-term career within our organisation.
