About the location and role

Take the next step in your career with the better big bank as Branch Manager. This role will see you lead, motivate and coach your team to success while immersing yourself in the local business community.
Our Branch Managers are committed to developing their team to achieve business growth through a proactive approach demonstrating both care and capability. You will be required to identify business opportunities in the broader market for branch growth through active business development, both internal and external.
You will deliver tailored financial solutions for our customers and establish sustainable relationships. Proven financial expertise in a range of lending products and services is essential, including in consumer lending, insurance, wealth management and exposure to small business lending.
You'll be responsible for leading and coaching a team in delivering exceptional service, sales results and meeting the needs of both new and existing customers. You will foster the talent and capability of your team to succeed collaboratively.
This is a permanent, full time position.
We are seeking a driven and experienced candidate who is committed to customer and community and can demonstrate:
- Ability to lead, mentor and develop highly effective teams in a service environment;
- Competence in achieving consistent sales results;
- Adherence to compliance, process and policy;
- Experience in developing and executing strategies to maintain and build business growth;
- Proven business development experience;
- Highly developed relationship building skills proactively developing valued internal and external networks and community partnerships;
- Experience in consumer and residential lending is essential.
