About the team and role

Situated in the Coonawarra wine region, surrounded by wineries and a number of significant heritage listed buildings, with a vibrant community, you will find the picturesque country town, Penola. The Penola Branch team is close kit, dynamic and community minded. The successful applicant will be coached, fostered and developed by the team.

Our Customer Service Officers lead the way in our branches with our unique philosophy. They listen to customers and find solutions to help them achieve their financial goals. As a team they are focused on working collaboratively to achieve goals. They are responsible for providing effective & efficient service to branch customers in a dynamic, diverse environment.

We are looking for someone who has a strong sales focus, is energetic, a team player and looking to grow within the business. Someone who has a keen interest in banking, finance or accounting related discipline would be ideal for this position.

This is a permanent, part time position of 32 hours per fortnight working across Monday, Thursday and Friday. Flexibility is key as at times additional hours or days may be required.


About you

A successful Customer Service Officer will bring:

  • Demonstrated sales ability to achieve targets and positive results

  • An ability to confidently talk to customers face to face or over the telephone  
  • Be a values driven and career orientated person
  • Be team player in a dynamic branch team environment
  • Have an eagerness to understand and share with others what makes our bank different
  • A willingness to be actively involved in local community engagement activities that make a difference
  • Experience in the banking and finance industry - a plus but certainly not essential
